Mila Velazquez, MN, RN, CS, ANP, CCRN was appointed an officer of the National Coalition of Ethnic Minority Nurse Associations (NCEMNA). NCEMNA is a national collaboration of ethnic minority nurse associations. NCEMNA is a unified force advocating for equity and justice in nursing and health care for ethnic minority populations. Ms. Velazquez was past president of PNAA.

Reynaldo R. Rivera , DNP, RN, NEA- BC, FAAN was appointed to the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE). Since 1967, the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) has provided leadership, professional development, advocacy and research to advance nursing practice and patient care, promote nursing leadership excellence and shape public policy for health care nationwide. Mr. Rivera was past president of PNAA and PNA New York.
