Candidate’s Statement of Philosophy and Intent

As an experienced leader with a long-term vision, I pursue excellence as the outcome of every project that I take on or be a part of which includes some strategies such as advance planning with projected budget, so I always know what the financial needs are.  I am very dedicated and passionate for projects that I do especially on health care issues and the advancement of the Nursing Profession.  I am very energetic and enthusiastic that I can motivate others to act, take responsibility for their actions but always respecting others’ opinion. I am decisive, sincere and makes tremendous sacrifices to complete a project with excellent outcome. I strive to be a role model by practicing a healthy lifestyle and try to serve as an inspiration to all.  I pursue in seeking to influence others to move to the path of excellence with my persevering and positive attitude.

The main character that sets me apart is my ability to multi-task and think critically, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate projects so decisively and always pursuing excellence.  I stand out because I just do not talk the talk, I walk the talk, and I choose leadership and mentorship roles in every opportunity that come to me.  I am a caring, compassionate, and innovative Health Care Expert,  as well as a critical thinker, motivator, excellent leader, very culturally competent, and I set high standards for myself but most of all I mix fun with work.

In closing, I have extensive clinical, management and administrative experience in both the inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings as a Staff Nurse, Public Health Nurse, Nurse Educator, Nurse Manager, Supervisor, Health Education Department Head, and a Healthcare Entrepreneur.  I am a visionary entrepreneur and a nationally recognized speaker who set forth a plan and agenda by which to “get there.”
