Candidate’s Statement of Philosophy and Intent

I am proud and honored to be part of PNAA, having served in different capacities in the local, state and national level. I am a dedicated, trusted    and committed leader that supports the mission, vision and goals of the organization. As an Administrative Director overseeing several inpatient and outpatient departments, budgeting, forecasting and accountability is an important part of my job. Healthcare has changed dramatically and as nurses we need to broaden our view beyond nursing. We have to think globally. Fiscal accountability is crucial. It is key to be able to understand the financial impact we are all facing.

My goals as the PNAA Treasurer would be:

  • A good custodian of the PNAA funds

  • Provide financial information to support decision making

  • Timely completion and accurate record keeping of the Treasurer’s report

  • Support the mission & vision of PNAA, it’s programs and projects while adhering to budgetary guidelines

I will do my utmost best to be an effective, efficient, supportive and prudent PNAA Treasurer ensuring the financial health of the organization
