Candidate’s Statement of Philosophy and Intent

I believe that Philippine Nurses Association of America, INC has unlimited potential.  I am running for the Board in an effort to do my part in advancing the mission and vision of Philippine Nurses Association of America INC.  My focus is to develop tools that can empower us as the intelligent, hard working, and professional group that we are.  I aim to promote the dignity and self-worth of all nurses in advancing the profession of nursing.  I am dedicated to mentoring and incorporating the principles and standards of Philippine Nurses Association of America, INS into my professional and personal life.

Since I have had the privilege of serving two terms as a member of the Board of the Directors for the Philippine Nurses Association of Southern California, I can proudly say that we successfully promoted leadership development, provided inspiring educational opportunities, and participated in relevant community outreach activities.  Through my experience as a board member, I have acquired the skills to fulfill the responsibilities of being a Board member for the Philippine Nurses Association of America, INC.  I aim to develop and implement strategies including advising on enhancements for the organization’s website and keeping it up to date with current activities and events.  Given the opportunity, we can work towards transforming nursing practice in an innovative yet intuitive way by leveraging technology.  I would greatly appreciate the chance to represent you.  Thank you for your consideration.
