Accomplished Filipino-American Nurses Publish and Launch Debut Leadership Book entitled, “Lead, Empower, Transform: You Can Do It!” at 37th PNAA Annual National Convention in Washington, DC

 

WASHINGTON, DC – Three accomplished and successful Filipino-American nurses: Leticia, C. Hermosa, JD, PhD, RN; Jeanette N. Livelo, DNP, MS/MBA, RN and Lorna Imperial Seidel, PhD, RN, CNS will launch the debut release of their groundbreaking leadership book entitled, “Lead, Empower, Transform: You Can Do It!” at the 37th Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA) annual national convention in Washington, DC. Now in its 37th year, this is the second time that the PNAA conference will be held in the nation's capital, which is expected to have the largest delegation of nursing professionals from all over the country.

 

 

What:   Lead, Empower, Transform: You Can Do It!” Book Launch and Press Conference

This book seeks to highlight the experiences of three influential and accomplished women from the nursing industry. The blended talents of a nurse lawyer, an entrepreneur nurse educator and clinical nurse director detail the importance of becoming exemplary and contemporary leaders in today’s fast-paced world. These women describe the challenges and opportunities presented to each and every one of their respective careers. In addition, the book illuminates the lessons learned through the power of storytelling.

 

The book launch and press conference will be moderated by Mr. Patrick Realiza, Co-Executive Director of the Mid Atlantic Foundation for Asian Artists, Inc. (MAFFAA) and will provide an opportunity for readers to witness first-hand excerpt readings from the authors of the book.

 

Sharing with readers their in-depth emotional and intellectual insights, attendees will be inspired to gain a deeper understanding of how to lead, empower and ultimately transform one’s self as well as those around them. Furthermore, it will speak to the salience of attaining and maintaining key leadership traits and attributes that can be applicable for virtually any professional or personal circumstance.
